Project Director: Annette Johnson

Youngsters gather and present family stories

This project will involve 4th and 5th graders in learning about the history of Montclair, a small, diverse city on the westernmost edge of San Bernardino County, and in gathering and presenting their own family stories through photography and historical narrative.

At the conclusion of the project, a selection of the students’ stories will be featured in an exhibit at Montclair’s City Hall.

“The ultimate aim of the project is to establish positive relationships among students, parents and Montclair residents,” Johnson said.
